I've Been Thinking....

I think its time for the LiveJournal to die.

It was a rockstar in many ways - it started off with nothing, soon gathered an incredibly small audience before hitting on an idea which hit big and gathered it mass support. It came at a price, of course, and the LiveJournal was left for a shiney blogspot focussing on just how much I didn't like my school. But it got hits. It was the struggling indie rock band that hit it big by signing to a major label. But to keep people's interest, it had to keep on being controversial. And it got shut down. And people didn't care anymore. So it went back to the struggling indie band it once was, but its fans didn't care, and it's band members (me) started losing interest. They started other projects and started thinking about joining a supergroup.

Who knows, though?

I Really Need To Get A New Damn Picture

Went into Manchester today with a good found. Saw lots of people from college about. Actually, we noticed that lots of attractive girls (or at least the not as attractive friends of attractive girls) from college. I guess that is how our minds really work.

And it's a fact!.

Part of me is tempted to do a list where I write about everything on there, but no-body would read it, so I would have wasted my time. Although, I guess I'm already wasting my time, because I'm writing this update that no-one'll read. So in a way I'm wasting time no matter what I do....

The Thing I Love About Revision...

It never forces you to do it. You can just piss around on the internet looking at comic book covers and argueing on message boards about the new Linkin Park album.

I should do some really - I have two mock tests tomorrow, and although I have done work on them, it's not nearly enough. My time table is pretty crap as well - I have my first exam on the second day of study leave and then it's a full fortnight before the next one. And, of course study leave ends on my birthday.

Tried to see Spiderman 3 on friday night. Got to cinema at 7 or so to find out that the next showing that wasn't fully booked was @ 10pm! So went bowling instead. Lost, but I got wear these cool shoes with glowing shoe laches.

Klaxons up next week. Don't know if I'm excited or not. I've got 49 glowsticks, but I remembered that I hate morons at gigs with glowsticks...or beer...or singing out of key. Actually, I hate gigs in general.

Ah well, better go revise.

OMG!

IT'S 16:16

Tonight I Cry...

because I'm not at Coachella. I'm sorry, but that line-up is just amazing.

Stay, Enjoy The Fish

I've changed a few things around. I'm not done yet, and expect the name colour/display/everything to move around a little. Oh, and a new picture, if I can take one I like, although that's doubtful, as I'm ugly and hate myself.

It's Getting All Nicey

Bugger, it's spring. That means it's nice, sunny and the fat kids are all out on their trampolines (I REFUSE TO SPELL THAT WORD CORRECTLY!!!). I'll probably get a new picture and, if I can be bothered, re-do this whole set up, as it's getting boring. And the name "Amazing Adventures of Matthew Davis..." is both un-cool now I'm not 14 and couldn't be furthur from the truth.

Work tomorrow and friday, which will be odd, since it'll be a pre-9am wake up. And I'll have to watch Neighbours at tea time. I haven't done much this holiday, to be honest. I've got all my work done - some of it to kick-ass level, others no so much, not matter what I try - but aside from that, time has flew past with DVDs, Sky+ and the super combo of a new 28 inch television screen and my PlayStation 2.

I thought about doing an update everyday these two weeks, but it would have been "Woke up, toast, homework, Neighbours, toast, tea, toast, sleep" every day. Nothing has happened, I haven't been out and the most pro-longed conversation I've had was with Ryan via MSN over free speech when he was sleep deprived and trying to compare the BNP's attacks on random strangers to the Iraq War.

As you can guess, it's not been a particulary pleasing term-break, but hey, that's life.

Since It's Easter....

Here's a great quote from the great, late Bill Hicks:

"They [Australians] celebrate Easter the exact same way we do: commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus by telling our children a giant bunny rabbit left chocolate eggs in the night. Now, I wonder why we're fucked up as a race. Anybody got any idea? You know, I've read the Bible. I can't find the word "bunny" or "chocolate" anywhere in the fucking book. Where do they come up with this shit? Why not goldfish left Lincoln logs in your sock drawer? As long as you're making shit up, you know, go hog-wild. At least the goldfish with a Lincoln log on its back going across your carpet has some miraculous connotations."Mummy, today I found a Lincoln log in me sock drawer." "That's the story of Jesus!""

Enjoy your easter eggs.
